Snow day (!!)

I'm back from Denver and, were it not for the foot of snow that has closed campus and most of the town, I'd be too busy to do these, so lucky you! Also, I brought back of ton of books (or at least it felt like it trying to get my carry-on into the overhead bin), mostly in the young adult range, so look for those over the next week or two. In the meantime, here's what I read on the plane: The Wee Free Men and A Hat Full of Sky, by Terry Pratchett. I'm not sure how many times I've read these; six or seven at least, I should think. I love these books, the first rather more so than the second. They don't have the bits of biting humor making fun of today's society, but they are a better story than the author's adult books. I'll round it out with the third one in a few days. Sadly, the author's website confirms a rumor I'd heard, that Terry Pratchett has early onset Alzheimer's. I wish there was something I could do, but I'm not that kind of scientist.
